As our Acoustic Imaging Expert, you will develop acoustic, photoacoustic and spectral imaging setups, characterize novel ultrasound transducer concepts, and support the development of new ultrasound systems from proof-of-concept to in-vivo testing.
What you will do
- Guide the development of new ultrasound systems from novel transducer concepts towards (photo)acoustic imaging applications.Characterize and benchmark ultrasound transducers acoustically, electrically and mechanically.Provide support across multiple projects using your expertise in acoustic imaging.Maintain a high standard of literature knowledge.Collaborate with specialists from our cross-disciplinary teams.Contribute to the creation of a long-term vision and strategy for the group and the Ultrasound Roadmap.
What we do for you
We offer you the opportunity to join one of the world’s premier research centers in nanotechnology at its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium. With your talent, passion and expertise, you’ll become part of a team that makes the impossible possible. Together, we shape the technology that will determine the society of tomorrow.
We are and proud of our open, multicultural, and informal working environment with ample possibilities to take initiative and show responsibility.
