Description

Fully supervising the competition process, the buyer's contribution will vary depending on the complexity of the files;
Applying appropriate negotiation tactics in order to find the most favorable solution for the company;
Detecting the purchasing needs of internal customers in a timely manner based on data analysis and regular contacts;
Creating sufficient market opening by, on the one hand, challenging the internal demand and describing it as correctly as possible and, on the other hand, developing the necessary market interest in a timely manner;
Updating the technical and commercial specifications according to the intended result;
Managing ongoing contracts during their duration (claims, possible renegotiations,...) in consultation with internal customers;
Defining and drawing up a vision for the long-term purchase of certain categories of services and goods (cf. Acquisition Plan).

Profile

You have a Master's degree in Industrial Science, in Applied Economics or similar, with 3 years of professional experience, preferably in an industrial environment;

You have experience in negotiations;

Knowledge of public procurement procedures is an asset;

Experience with technical procurement is an asset ;

You have good drafting skills (you are comfortable with contractual texts);

You are proactive, assertive, diplomatic and solution-oriented;

You are a team player who is organizationally strong and resistant to stress;

You are fluent in Dutch and French and have good knowledge of English;

You work fluently with MS Office and office tools. Experience with an ERP system type SAP / COUPA is an asset;

You have a driving license B.
