Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sales Planning :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the specific market dynamics in Belgium.
  • Identify target markets and customer segments for both corporate (B2B) and individual (B2C) clientele driving groups, transient and Meeting & Events business for WiZiU hotels in Belgium & France.
  • Establish annual sales objectives, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for the portfolio.

2. B2B Sales Management :

  • Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other institutional partners.
  • Secure corporate accounts, group bookings, and long-term partnerships to ensure steady revenue streams.
  • Represent the hotel portfolio at trade shows, corporate events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • 3. B2C Sales Management :

  • Oversee direct sales efforts targeting individual travellers (transient), including leisure, bleisure and business guests.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and revenue management to design promotional campaigns that attract new guests and encourage repeat bookings.
  • Leverage online platforms and distribution channels to maximize room occupancy and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Qualifications

    4. Global Business Development ( Scope : all WiZiU hotels in Belgium and France )

  • Expand WiZiU's market reach by driving B2B and B2C business development initiatives across the Benelux, UK, and Scandinavian markets.
  • Identify and capitalize on global opportunities (i.e. Accor, Marriott, IHG) by cultivating relationships with international corporate clients, travel agencies, and distribution partners.
  • Leverage insights into local market trends and customer preferences to tailor offerings and strategies that maximize revenue.
  • Build a robust pipeline of prospects through targeted networking, trade shows, and strategic collaborations.
  • Develop and execute campaigns aimed at both institutional and individual travellers, aligning efforts with WiZiU’s overarching commercial goals.
  • 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Partner with hotel managers, revenue managers, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with operational objectives.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to guide product development and service enhancements.
  • 6. Reporting and Analysis :

  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and report on revenue growth against targets.
  • Use insights to refine strategies and seize new business opportunities.
  • 7. Leadership and Team Development :

  • Manage and mentor the hotels team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, digital and results-driven performances.
  • Additional Information

    Profile Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality sales, managing multi-property portfolios.
  • Strong network within the Belgian market, especially in corporate, leisure, M&E segments.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English is a strong asset.
