Senior PHP / WordPress developer

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior PHP / WordPress developer, you will be responsible for setting up the backend and / or frontend of new projects and overseeing the entire project lifecycle. Additionally, you will handle the maintenance of these projects, including performing updates, designing new pages, and adding new blocks as required to align with EURACTIV's vision of bridging the European capitals. This role reports directly to the CEO and collaborates with teams in Brussels, Paris, and Berlin. You can expect a high degree of creativity and variety in your work, as well as close cooperation with diverse teams and weekly strategic meetings with the CEO.

What you bring as a Senior PHP / WordPress developer :

• Design new applications and enhance existing ones
• Provide advice to business teams on ICT constraints and opportunities
• Track project progress and communicate status and ongoing tasks
• Proactively identify further needs and innovative solutions
• Document work performed and coordinate with teams
• Upgrade EURACTIV WordPress websites and mini-sites using Symfony
