We are looking for a dedicated IT Warehouse Management System (WMS) Manager to strengthen our IT team. This is a critical role that focuses on the development and improvement of WMS, particularly with the Manhattan Warehouse Management System.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop business roadmaps in collaboration with senior management and ensure adherence to IT budgets.
  • Assess system performance to determine operational costs and productivity levels, and develop cost-benefit analyses.
  • Propose developments to enhance the WMS and other technological initiatives within our automated distribution systems.
  • Proactively seek innovative solutions and methodologies to ensure the full potential of the system is realized.
  • Oversee technical resource development and create long-term strategic plans for efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance to support organizational change and process improvements.
  • Manage a portion of the IT WMS team, including analysts, assisting them in resolving complex issues at our distribution sites to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Support WMS technologies across our distribution centers globally, requiring occasional travel.

Desired Profile :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a WMS environment, with a preference for experience with the Manhattan Warehouse Management System.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a distribution and / or logistics center.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS, SQL, and order management applications and database systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills at the systems level.
  • Fluent in English (minimum C1) and French (minimum C1).
  • Customer and results-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized, able to manage stress and set priorities for yourself and your team.
  • Flexible and willing to travel and support global distribution centers, including physical presence at the Milmort site as required.
