We are looking for a Senior System Design Engineer with experience in system software and IT infrastructure to join our team. In this role, you will design secure, scalable, and high-performing systems that align with business goals, while driving innovation and ensuring technical excellence.

  • You will translate technical and business requirements into efficient, scalable system designs.
  • You will evaluate design alternatives, considering benefits, trade-offs, and long-term impact.
  • You will validate that designs comply with internal standards and security policies.
  • You will support the deployment of system designs and ensure they meet intended requirements.
  • You will leverage development tools to address technical and business challenges, including performance optimization and capacity planning.
  • You will propose and implement innovative ideas to improve systems, processes, or services.
  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
  • You will perform complex incident resolution and conduct root cause analysis.
  • You will participate in on-call rotations for the systems you are responsible for.

You have the following skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a System Design Engineer role.
  • Experience in regulated environments or industries with high security and compliance requirements is desirable.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an asset.
  • ICT Knowledge : Encryption, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Information Security
  • Technical Skills : GitHub / BitBucket, JSON (JavaScript Object Notation), OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC)

  • You have at least of professional experiences in IT
  • If you are at least fluent in FR / ENG or NL / ENG it’s best
  • You’re eager to learn, motivated and curious
