Qualifications : Holder of a valid security officer card. Nationality : EU citizen or Belgian (professional card required). Languages : English and French are essential. Knowledge of Flemish is an asset. Certifications : Up-to-date first aid certifications are highly desired. Firefighting certification is a plus but not mandatory. Work Conditions : Available to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Background : A clean criminal record is required. Technical Skills : Excellent command of IT tools and security technologies. Physical Condition : Good physical fitness is required for the demands of the position. The Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels , the premier palace of the capital, is looking for a passionate and experienced Security Officer to join its security team. If you have a strong sense of service and solid experience in private security, this position is made for you!
Main Responsibilities :
- Ensure the safety and protection of the hotel’s guests, staff, and infrastructure.
- Manage the hotel’s security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control, etc.).
- Respond effectively in case of an incident or emergency, including providing first aid.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a secure environment that adheres to established standards.
