  • Youhave a passion for Microsoft technology and a deep understanding of cloudcomputing technologies and emerging computing trends.
  • Youare an expert on Azure Cloud or want to develop into one in the coming years.
  • Youhave experience with Microsoft technologies, including at least three years ofworking experience with Microsoft Azure, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code(Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, …).
  • Besidethese technical skills, you are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • 3-5+years of experience as a System Engineer, Backup Engineer, or related role.
  • Provenexperience with Veeam Backup & Replication in both physical and virtualenvironments.
  • Hands-onexperience with VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Familiaritywith SAN / NAS storage solutions.
  • Experiencein configuring and managing Windows Failover Clustering environments.;

As a System Engineer, you will be part ofour Infrastructure Managed Services Level 2 Engineers, candidate will play apivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our backup and disaster recoverysystems, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the overall IT infrastructure.In addition to Veeam Backup, strong knowledge of Windows Failover Clusteringwill be highly valued, enabling you to help improve the resilience and highavailability of our server environments. You will have the possibility to :

  • Design,configure, and maintain Veeam Backup & Catalyst Replication(HPE Storeonce)solutions for physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
  • Performregular backups, tests, and restores to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Monitorbackup jobs and troubleshoot failures, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Developand implement disaster recovery plans and ensure they are regularly tested.
  • Manageand configure Windows Failover Clustering for high-availability solutions.
  • Supportclustered applications and services to ensure continuity and failovercapabilities.
  • Troubleshootcluster-related issues and assist in performing regular cluster testing toensure reliability.
  • Install,configure, and manage VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter Server for virtualizationenvironments.
  • Monitorand manage virtual machine (VM) performance and resource allocation (CPU,memory, storage).
  • Performupgrades, patching, and maintenance of ESXi hosts and vCenter to ensurestability and security.
  • TroubleshootVMware-related issues, including VM failures, host performance degradation, andstorage-related problems.
  • Configureand manage storage solutions, ensuring they align with backup and clusteringstrategies.
  • Monitorsystem performance, uptime, and capacity planning.
  • Automatebackup and failover processes, reporting, and monitoring using scripting toolsand Veeam ONE.

    • Provide level 2 / 3 support for Veeam, WindowsFailover Clusters, and infrastructure-related issues.
