As a Project Controller , you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial and commercial aspects of high-profile real estate projects. Working closely with project managers, you’ll provide insights, ensure budget integrity, and contribute to the financial success of our developments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Financial Oversight & Budgeting : Analyze project budgets, track variances, and ensure financial transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Business Partnering : Be the go-to finance expert for project managers (developers, legal, and technical teams) and provide insights on actuals, budgeting, and financing.
• Performance Monitoring : Review and analyze committed, expended, and forecasted costs, ensuring alignment with the approved budget.
• Strategic Reporting : Prepare quarterly financial reports and clearly communicate variances and forecasts to stakeholders.
• Data Reconciliation : Align financial data with accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify process enhancements and work closely with project managers to optimize financial control systems.
• Ad-Hoc Financial Tasks : Support corporate finance in cash planning and business plan preparation.
• What We’re Looking For
• Experience : You have 3-4 years of relevant experience in Controlling, Audit, or a project-driven finance role. Experience in real estate development or construction? That’s a strong plus!
• Languages : Fluent in French and / or Dutch with a good level of English
• Mindset : A team player who’s also self-driven, detail-oriented, and thrives under deadlines.
• Analytical Skills : Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to challenge assumptions.
• Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in Excel is essential; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
