Job Summary

Job purpose

The HR Country Manager will coordinate and / or manage HR activities for Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg including, but not limited to, transactional (payroll, personnel administration) duties, labor relations, employer branding in the framework of policies established by the Group.

S / he will ensure smooth running of all HR processes to secure a smart employee life experience cycle in the company - recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, pay and incentives, trainings, career development and exit management.

And s / he will be a spare partner of our business through local HR contact / officers.

Location : La Hulpe, Belgium

Key Tasks and Responsibilities :

Coordination of HR team and be a partner to the Business

Coordinate, coach, support and develop high performing HR team across BeNeLux fostering positive and cooperative working climate and true empowerment of the HR team members.

Align the HR function with the organization's strategic objectives.

Ensure the HR function is delivering on the employee life cycle and experience creating added value to the business understanding the Business drivers, the current and long term strategy and identify opportunities

Manage to pay

Supervise and validate payroll runs in all Benelux entities ensuring segregation of duties and data protection as well as internal audit compliance

Labor relations

Facilitate leading labor relations and negotiations , coach members of HR team in approach and structure and in leading the negotiations

Be familiar with labor, social security & tax legislation including special fiscal status (salary split, expats)

Prepare and manage all documents related to the employment contract such as internal regulations, employment contracts, amendments and exits and disciplinary procedures. Provide labor consultancy and guidelines to the Business in terms of labor relations

C&B, policies and procedure and training cycle

Prepare and ensure salary grading (evaluations and methodology, market surveys) in line with group policies and in collaboration with Global Centers of Expertise.

Coordinate benefits systems across BeNeLux.

Ensure smooth training programs for all employees  in line with group policies and in collaboration with Global Centers of Expertise.

HRIS and tools, audit, data compliance and budget control

Manage data accuracy , streamline and leverage HRIS across BeNeLux

Interrogate HR analytics data to understand key organizational dynamics, trends and issues, define and execute actions

Manage compliance of all Imerys policies (anti bribery, GDPR)  on the country level

Requirements :

BSc. degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance or equivalent

Proven working experience gained in managing payroll;

Experience acquired in an industrial / manufacturing environment;

Strong knowledge in social insurances; experience in dealing with HR services providers (Secrétariat Social)

Excellent knowledge of current Belgium labor rules and regulations, experience in local labor negotiation, works councils, interactions with employees representatives and unions delegates

Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits;

Affinity with information systems and propose automation;

Strong acumen for project management

Fluent in  Dutch, English, French;

Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems;

Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to synthesise trends and recommendations;

Good organizational and and ability to multi task and re-prioritize regularly;

Self motivated with ability to propose initiatives that proactively addresses HR business issues in his area of expertise;

Good interpersonal skills engaging with different stakeholders;

Precise with emphasis on detail and accuracy
