Role Overview :
As an IT Automation Engineer , you will play a critical role in shaping the company’s journey towards smart manufacturing. You will develop strategies and project roadmaps to automate and optimise manufacturing processes, leveraging data and AI technologies. Collaborating closely with key business stakeholders, you will design and implement innovative solutions to revolutionise production systems and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop strategies and comprehensive project roadmaps for transitioning to automated, data-driven manufacturing processes.
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Design and implement IT solutions using modern data languages, platforms, and tools, such as Python, R, Scala, Power BI, Snowflake, and Azure.
- Analyse existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and propose automation strategies.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of the implemented automation systems.
- Act as a subject-matter expert in manufacturing automation, staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skills :
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Proven experience in manufacturing environments, ideally within the automotive industry.Strong knowledge of data and AI technologies, including Python, R, Scala, Power BI, Snowflake, and Azure.Experience in developing and implementing automation strategies for manufacturing processes.Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovation.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Why Join Us?
