Mission context

IT Application Production Support has the mission to provide infrastructure service in order to secure and host Web applications. The service provided by the team covers technical architecture, industrialization of web infrastructure & security assets, production support, integration of web applications, and securing them. The main goal of the mission is to assist the Technical Design team with the creation of technical architectural designs linked to the migration to our new data center.

Function description

Working in the Technical Design squad, acting as a Technical Infrastructure Architect.

  • Support projects with Web Hosting and Web Security architectural expertise and specific deliverables in order to define and apply the best architecture choices that fit business purposes.
  • Responsible for DTD (Detailed Technical Design) documents for new projects – for the web infrastructure part, detailing OPAD provided by the core Enterprise Architecture team, clarifying detailed flows.
  • Interact with project architects, infra engineers, and development squads to validate the DTD.
  • Assist all participants in understanding Architectural documents and DTDs.
  • Contribute to promoting orderly approaches in the delivery and in smaller requests : provide guidance to all counterparts.
  • Contribute to the definition and maintenance of reference architectures.
  • Provide an end-to-end view of the solutions and technical expertise when needed, in collaboration with other experts.
  • Offer guidance for managing the landscape of deployed solutions.
  • Identify savings opportunities and propose adequate and realistic actions.
  • Identify decommissioning opportunities and propose adequate and realistic actions.

Required knowledge / Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in infrastructure architecture in enterprise environments with broad knowledge of the following assets : Web Application Hosting (WebSphere, Kubernetes, IIS, Tomcat, HTTP), Web Security (ISVA, F5 WAF, API GW, HSM, oAuth2, TLS).
  • Experience in cloud environments.
  • Able to understand bank-related business processes and assess impacts on business, Agile methodology.
