Description :
1.1. Role and Responsibilities
Governance and Application Coordination : You are responsible for the management, maintenance and development of IT solutions for observing and monitoring the network (gas / electricity) as part of Client energy transition program.
Strategic Alignment : You ensure that these solutions are in line with Client priorities (Smart Grid, digitalization, integration of renewables), in connection with the Smart Grid sub-program.
Technical Referent : You are the privileged point of contact for observability applications : you supervise the dedicated team, answer functional and technical questions, and manage exchanges with other teams (infra, business, data, etc.).
Cross-functional Collaboration : You work closely with IT, business and technical teams, as well as with the Smart Grid program manager, to ensure the consistency and performance of observability solutions.
1.2. Main Tasks and Activities
Consistency and Integration of Solutions : Ensure the proper implementation and continuity of service of observability applications. Ensure their harmonious integration into the Client IT ecosystem.
Maintenance and Developments : Manage system updates and developments, ensuring compliance with strategic objectives and taking into account user feedback.
Support and Incident Management : Centralize, analyze and resolve incidents related to network supervision and monitoring. Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability.
Documentation and Training : Create, update and distribute technical and functional documentation related to applications. Organize training sessions for users (technical teams, business lines).
Stay informed of new developments and best practices in observability (monitoring, alerting, logs, and performance) and propose continuous improvements.
Reporting : Provide regular reporting to the Application Division Manager on performance indicators (KPI, SLA, incidents), project progress and development roadmap.
Team Coordination : Manage and mobilize the necessary resources (internal and / or external), plan activities and ensure compliance with commitments (deadlines, budget, and quality).
Ensure proper integration between application projects in your scope and other information systems (ERP, GIS, MDM, etc.), avoiding conflicts and facilitating synergies.
1.3. Resource Management
Dedicated Team : Supervise experts and analysts (internal and / or service providers) to ensure the design, maintenance and development of observability applications.
Budget and Planning : Depending on the scope assigned, contribute to the estimation and budget monitoring (licenses, services, and resources).
1.4. Internal Working Relationships
Business Teams : Understand and translate their needs into observability solutions.
IT Teams : Align technical choices and ensure system consistency.
Smart Grid Program Manager : Report progress, identify risks and opportunities related to observability tools.
1.5. External Working Relationships
Software Suppliers / Publishers : Negotiate and monitor maintenance contracts, upgrades and developments.
Regulators and Authorities : Provide, where applicable, the information required as part of regulatory obligations related to observability.
Service Providers : Ensure effective management to meet objectives.
Other Players in the Energy World : Share information, pool solutions.
1.6. Main Tools Used
MS Office : Communication, reporting.
Observability Solutions : According to Client architecture.
Other Applications of the Division : ERP, MDM, GIS, etc.
2. Required Profile
2.1. Training and Qualifications
University degree (computer science, information systems) or equivalent experience.
2.2. Experience
Significant experience in IT application management (2-5 years or more).
First experience in leadership and team management (coordination, supervision, steering).
Expertise in a similar environment (energy, utilities, industry) is an asset.
Certifications (ITIL, Scrum, observability tools, etc.) appreciated.
In-depth knowledge of information systems and associated technologies (software architecture, databases, integration).
Fluency in French and good understanding of English.
