Function
The Market Access Policy Officer works closely with the Market Access Policy Associate Director in shaping market access policies across industry sector groups whilst supporting both internal and external outreach.
Your key responsibilities will include :
- Monitoring, analysing and advising on the latest European policy and legislation, their impact on both pharmaceutical markets as well as the impact of national market access policy developments across Europe.
- Managing the activities of the Market Access related committees, working groups and task forces including drafting the agenda, minutes, reports and briefing notes.
- Drafting responses to public consultations, developing position papers, advocacy strategies and conducting surveys amongst members.
- Collaborating with the European Commission, National Competent Authorities, European Payer and Insurers Associations in order to advocate Medicines for Europe’s stance.
- Contributing to the organisation of conferences including their program development.
- Assisting in developing communications and educational materials.
Profile
Master’s degree in Pharmacy OR Life Sciences OR Health Economics OR EU Law or Healthcare Policy.Minimum 1 year of experience in Market Access Policy OR Medicine Pricing & Reimbursing PoliciesUnderstanding of the European Pharmaceutical Framework, Market Dynamics and Policies (EU and / or national).Understanding how a Trade Association functions is vital.Excellent English (written and spoken).Proficient in Microsoft Office.Knowledge of databases holding relevant health data is an advantage (e.g. OECD Data, Eurostat, IQVIA MIDAS® ).Excellent project management skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset.Strategic thinker, able to turn the complex into clear messages.A quick learner with a politically savvy mind.Strong communicator, able to network with excellent writing and presentation skills.Comfortable working in a multi-cultural, international environment.Offer
