onsemi  (Nasdaq : ON) is hiring a highly motivated and self-driven semiconductor process technology expert at our Mechelen location in Belgium. This is an exciting opportunity that will broaden and enhance one’s skill and challenge the candidate throughout their career. You will be working in the Chief Technology Office’s organization driving a deep submicron process technology roadmap for onsemi’s mixed signal and computing products. This opportunity is for those who are technically focused and thrive on solving complex challenges and cooperating in global teams to create future technology platforms and intellectual property for onsemi.

Performance Objectives :

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to :

  • Work with fellow technologists, technology developers, customers, business unit representatives, circuit designers, application engineers, sales, reliability, and other teams on a global basis to define, plan, develop and qualify a process technology roadmap for the future mixed signal and computing products which meets the cost, performance, manufacturing, timeline and reliability goals.
  • Organize efficient development methodologies to address issues and lead technology development through cross functional teams.
  • Understand detailed customer requirements and verify latest technologies meet or exceed all expectations.
  • Organize trainings to circuit designers and product definers on the latest process architectures
  • Publish progress reports to executives and peers on monthly and quarterly basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MS degree in Electrical Engineering. . degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years’ experience in analog circuit design and / or semiconductor processes.
  • Proven know-how in deep-submicron (
  • Good understanding of CMOS device physics.
  • Good understanding in mixed-signal parameters for CMOS technologies.
  • Proficiency with optimization of process technology solutions for cost, performance and reliability.
  • Knowledge of automotive reliability requirements is an asset.
  • Experience in low-power-compute applications or technology is an asset.
  • Innovative and creative in finding solutions to problems.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Well-organized and methodical.
  • Comfortable in a team environment.
  • Autonomous with minimal supervision when required.
  • Eager to work in a highly competitive field and a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency (written and oral) in English required.
