We are currently looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer for one of our clients specializing in high-tech electronics and semiconductor technologies. In this role, you will focus on the design and development of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electrical systems, collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary teams to create robust, high-performance solutions.

Your tasks will involve :

  • Designing schematics and PCB layouts using tools such as OrCAD, Altium, PADS, or Eagle.
  • Collaborating with layout engineers to produce manufacturable PCBs, ensuring high reliability and performance.
  • Selecting and specifying components such as power supply regulators, op-amps, ADCs / DACs, and isolators.
  • Validating designs through simulations (e.g., SPICE, Hyperlynx) and conducting prototyping and testing to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Designing and optimizing electrical systems , including power distribution, safety interlocks, interconnection diagrams, and data networking (wired or fiber optic).
  • Collaborating with FPGA and firmware engineers to characterize and test full PCB systems.
  • Working with mechanical engineers to ensure electrical designs are serviceable and meet system requirements.
  • Contributing to cabling, fiber optic design, and integration with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) where needed.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Educational background in electronics, electrical engineering, embedded systems , or microelectronics engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware and PCB design.
  • Proficiency with PCB design tools like OrCAD, Altium, PADS, or Eagle.
  • Familiarity with common electronic components and blocks , including power supply regulators, ADCs / DACs, and op-amps.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as ADS or Hyperlynx is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of AC power distribution and familiarity with programmable logic controllers, ladder logic, or soldering.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
