As part of our mission to redefine migraine care, we are looking for a Product Manager to spearhead the development and growth of our Cece app, transforming it into a leading software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) solution.

Position Overview : The Product Manager of Cefaly's Medical Grade App, CeCe will lead the evolution of our digital app, managing its lifecycle from development to optimization. This role bridges product development, patient experience, and strategic growth , focusing on creating best-in-class features while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of patient needs , experience in app development and healthcare technology , and the vision to scale the CeCe app into a leading platform for patient engagement and support.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Product Development and Strategy

  • Define and own the product roadmap for the CeCe app, prioritizing features and updates based on business goals and patient feedback.
  • Partner with engineering teams to drive the development of new app functionalities, ensuring they align with user needs and industry best practices.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical interoperability and development alignment between the app and devices.
  • Introduce innovative solutions to enhance the app’s usability, engagement, and integration with Cefaly devices.

2. Patient-Centric Focus

  • Conduct user research to understand patient pain points and translate these into actionable app features.
  • Collaborate with customer service and clinical teams to incorporate feedback from patients, especially regarding usability and accessibility challenges.
  • 3. Regulatory and Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure the CeCe app complies with all relevant SaMD, MDSW regulations, including FDA and EMA standards.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain rigorous testing and documentation protocols.
  • 4. Data Analytics and Growth

  • Define key metrics to track the app’s performance and patient engagement.
  • Analyze user behavior to identify growth opportunities and implement data-driven strategies to enhance app retention and value.
  • 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, R&D, IT and Data Analytics to align app development with broader company goals.
  • Support partnerships with healthcare professionals and patient advocacy groups to drive app adoption.
  • 6. Market Positioning and Scaling

  • Develop strategies to position the CeCe app as a premium offering, including subscription models and value-added services.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the app’s features into broader markets, such as integration with other health platforms or expanding its indications.
  • Qualifications

    Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Software Engineering, Healthcare Technology , or related fields.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or similar) preferred.
  • Professional Experience

  • 5+ years in product management , ideally within healthcare technology, mobile apps , or SaMD, MDSW domains.
  • Proven track record of managing product roadmaps and delivering successful app features.
  • Experience working within regulated industries and understanding compliance requirements.
  • Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with API, databases and data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics).
  • Proficiency in software development tools and platforms (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Figma, or similar).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across diverse teams.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and Agile development methodologies.
  • Fluency in English.
