For a leading, international company in the metalworking industry, Schelstraete Delacourt is looking for a European Compensation, Benefits and Reward Manager .

The European Compensation, Benefits and Reward Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the compensation package and benefit plans for approximately 170 employees in Europe and the Middle East . This role includes both strategic and operational tasks, ensuring compliance with local legislation while aligning with the company's global compensation policy.

As an expert and trusted advisor, the manager provides comprehensive support to the organization and collaborates closely with the Corporate Compensation Team. The position r eports to the Head of the European HR Team and oversees a payroll officer .

Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits , with at least 5 years in an international European context.
  • Excellent knowledge of global European compensation and benefits practices .
  • Extensive and in-depth knowledge of payroll and insurances, reward management and social legislation.
  • Familiarity with common Human Resources software and HRIS . Proficiency in Excel and payroll systems.
  • Experience with Success Factors, SD Worx and Time registration systems is a plus.
  • Capability to combine strategic thinking skills with practical execution. Combining attention to detail and accuracy with a helicopter view.
  • Hands-on mentality and problem-solving skills . Thinking along with the business and taking a pragmatic approach.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills .
  • Well-organized and structured; able to work systematically but yet in a fast-changing environment.
  • Great analytical and numerical skills .
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and to work autonomously and as part of a team .
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, both nationally and internationally.
