Serve as an employee of the EHA to provide technical advice and copordinate technical positions on behalf of the EHA.

Chair the EHA Technical Harmonization Committee and provide regular reports on committee activities to the Executive Board, Board of Directors and Extended Board.

Collects and summarises the positions of the membership of the EHA on technical and safety matters.

Develop Terms of Reference (ToR) for EHA Working Group (WG) activities.

Participate in internal and external working groups and committees.

Review technical inputs for submission to EU and International Institutions.

Collaborate with the Policy and Administration Manager to bid for European tenders and prepare the necessary documentation.

Advise the BoD and CEO in formulating policies and programs to achieve the association's goals and objectives.

Collaborate with other associations to influence initiatives in favor of EHA members.

Write technical briefings, reports, position papers, and deliver oral briefings and presentations, as required.

Represent the EHA at relevant VTOL events / shows, meetings with EASA, and other Authorities and institutions, alongside the members of the board of directors

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.

Significant experience in the management or execution of professional helicopter operations.

Previous experience in a technical and safety-related role, preferably within an association, industry organization or helicopter operator.

Strong knowledge of technical and safety standards relevant to the vertical-lift industry.

Familiarity with EU / EASA regulations and policies.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English for preparing technical documentation and delivering presentations.

Ability to review technical inputs and develop positions for submission to EASA / EU and international institutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Leadership capabilities to effectively chair the Technical Harmonization Committee and collaborate with stakeholders.

Helicopter pilot license a plus.

Good sense of diplomacy and ability to manage with impartiality, both the diversity of members' requirements and the argumentation faced with administrations and various EU public authorities.

Ethical standards with a commitment to the association's code of conduct and with OEMs members compliance rules.

Home-office work. However, willingness to travel frequently is required.
