materials engineer

For our client in the automotive sector , we are looking for a Materials Engineer. Monitor EU recycling technologies through benchmarking, supplier meetings, and conferences Build and maintain a tech database and technology map for recycled materials Write technical reports summarizing innovations in recycling and sustainability Define material requirements with suppliers and execute validation plans Conduct tests (physical, emissions, aging), analyze results, and propose countermeasures Support integration of recycled plastics in vehicle models (part visualization, performance validation, stakeholder coordination) Update internal recycled materials database and issue validation reports Oversee development and validation of painted parts (bumpers, dashboards, ABS components) Manage painted parts lists, project milestones, and quality KPIs Coordinate testing with suppliers, analyze results, and follow up on corrective actions Attend project meetings, color validations, and supplier t...
