We are looking for a Financial Controller, based in Paris and reporting directly to the Head of Controlling.

Responsibilities

Group Support :

  • Be deeply implicated into the monthly reporting closing (D+5) in collaboration with the Head of Controlling :
  • Check, reconcile and provide monthly to accounting team the Business Data of topline (revenues & gross margin per Verticals & Market) using the BI tools
  • Manage the analytic costs allocations in SAP S / 4 Hana (costs repartitions & SAP internal orders)
  • Ensure the correctness of the profit & costs centers (checks & instructions to accounting teams) to provide reliable performance P&L
  • Participate to the Capex & Capitalisation calculation & follow up of the Tech development
  • Be involved in the Financial communication process : preparation of deliverables to internal and external Group stakeholders (banks, shareholders, …)
  • Actively participate in the quarterly Forecast & to the yearly Budget
  • Actively participate in the controlling tools improvements (Business Intelligence Qlik) & be a support of the SAP S / 4 Hana evolutions (business adaptation & tools evolutions)
  • Participate on-demand in group projects (M&A integration, Finance road map)
  • Deeply collaborate with the Finance team (Consolidation, Accounting, Credit management)

Business Support :

  • Assist the Operating Business teams and the Corporate & Digital teams in their monthly performance steering (using the monthly P&L and reporting dashboard and specific reports that you could create)
  • Develop the Business Partnership with the Operation and the Corporate & Digital teams
  • Manage periodic reviews with Executive Committee Members about monthly P&L
  • Alert & highlight on the main events and / or deviations vs Budget / Forecast
  • Provide qualitative data & analysis facilitating the business decisions
  • Controlling Features & Objectives :

  • Controlling is the owner of Finance Business Tools (Qlik for reporting tools) with dedicated resources for Business Intelligence development
  • Controlling is the owner of Finance processes flows design & automation
  • Controlling is an important stakeholder of SAP S / 4 Hana management and upgrade
  • Controlling aims to convert his current organization being Business focused and acting as a daily Business Partners
  • Requirements and assets

  • Higher Education with Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3 to 4 years experience as external auditor within a Big Four or controller within a group (International group is a plus)
  • Fluency in French and English is required (German is a plus)
  • Strong systems skills (Excel, BI tools, SAP) and good accounting level
  • Excellent analytical skills, data player abilities and flexible hands-on approach to business, with the ability to be creative
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple interlocutors and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Communication ability to create a relationship with your customers
  • Position to be filled as soon as possible.
