Job Summary
As a Finance Business Partner Manager Consolidation and Analytics at Terumo Europe, you will be responsible for the management of processes and tools related to various aspects of finance, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and closing. The role additionally includes finance business partnering and support to HQ, R&D, Capex and workforce planning in regards to human resources in finance. You will contribute to the preparation, analysis, and release of EMEA financial consolidated statements from managerial perspective and ensuring necessary input and consistency with statutory statements.
You will lead the finance business partnering Consolidation & Analytics team, lead management of consolidation statements propose solutions as a strategic business partner, and set the standards and implement the required tools, all across the EMEA region.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic
- Develops the financial cycles strategy (closing, budget, forecast, and long-range planning) in collaboration with EMEA Finance Business Partner Director and manages the consolidation and coordination
- Drives development of financial reporting reflecting business needs and ensures compliance with official financial statements
- Cooperates in the management of financial systems including the development and maintenance of financial models for long-term use
- Prepares and communicates monthly managerial financial reporting for the Terumo Europe management team in a timely, complete and accurate manner
- Provides in depth analysis of monthly / quarterly financial statement as basis for decision making for EMEA level and specific scope of responsibility
- Sets up analysis methodologies, KPI dashboards, performance metrics to steer the P / L performance and to support business decisions
- Executes strategic business plans and leads or assists in EMEA financial projects and initiatives
- Evaluates risks, implements actions, and identifies trends to propose process improvements, including SAP development and adaptation
- Supports the EMEA Finance Business Partner Director in periodic controlling closing meetings and performs strategic analysis upon request
- Builds strong internal relationships within the EMEA Finance business partner team to ensure alignment between reporting and country / BU finance business partner needs
