Position Overview :
Our company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Manager to join our international logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, with at least 4 years of professional experience, and be capable of leading and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure. This role involves creating the IT roadmap, developing strategic initiatives, managing the IT budget, and overseeing network management and system implementations. The IT Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the robustness of our ERP and CRM systems, as well as the cybersecurity posture of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
IT Strategy & Roadmap Development :
Design and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company’s long-term goals. Build a detailed IT roadmap for future growth and system enhancements to support business objectives.
Team Leadership :
Lead and mentor a team of 4 IT professionals. Ensure the team is aligned with organizational priorities and that resources are effectively allocated. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence in IT.
Budget Management :
Oversee the IT budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources. Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize costs while maintaining high-performance IT infrastructure.
Vendor Management :
Select, negotiate with, and manage external vendors and service providers. Ensure contracts are managed effectively, and vendors deliver on their commitments regarding service levels and deadlines.
ERP & CRM System Implementation :
Lead the successful implementation, integration, and management of ERP and CRM systems. Oversee upgrades, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements to ensure they meet business needs.
Network Management & Infrastructure :
Ensure the optimal functioning and scalability of network infrastructure. Address any system, hardware, or software issues swiftly to ensure minimal downtime.
Cybersecurity :
Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies, practices, and incident response protocols to protect the company’s data, systems, and intellectual property. Continuously monitor, assess, and upgrade security measures in line with best practices.
Reporting & Collaboration :
Provide regular reports on IT performance, budget, project progress, and cybersecurity status to the CEO and senior leadership. Collaborate with other departments to understand their technological needs and implement solutions.
Qualifications :
- Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in IT management, preferably in a large international organization.
- Proven experience leading IT teams and managing complex IT projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and other business-critical systems, including their integration and optimization.
- Expertise in network management, IT infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Strong vendor management skills with a track record of negotiating and managing external partnerships.
- Excellent budget management, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and / or French is a plus.
