Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner to join our client, a leader in the supply chain and logistics sector.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Managing Purchase Requisitions from internal suppliers until the creation of Material Planning documents.
- Following up with Procurement on the maturity level of Purchase Requisitions for launching Material Planning documents for external suppliers.
- Ensuring and updating the accuracy of material planning master data in compliance with stock and logistic constraints.
- Creating Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) and respective Source List and Quota Management.
- Communicating Material Planning documents to suppliers and following up on supplier confirmations.
- Identifying priorities associated with risk / impact anticipation and setting up recovery actions.
- Organizing and maintaining regular reviews with suppliers to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances.
- Analyzing and managing MRP exception messages and anticipating supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand, etc.).
- Maintaining delivery dates in ERP and tracking missing parts until stock availability.
- Collaborating with Material Planning Management / SDPM to validate underperforming suppliers and define appropriate action plans.
