Senior Legal Counsel - Brussels

As part of the Legal Team and reporting to the Legal Director, the Senior Legal Counsel will be in charge of :

• Commercial contracts / contract management
• Managing the international commercial contracts of our Client : drafting, alignment with shareholders, negotiation lead in front of suppliers, follow-up of the contracts performance, etc.,
• Support our Client's commercial teams in their negotiation activities and exchanges with suppliers : compliance with competition law in commercial negotiations, regular training sessions to sensibilize commercial teams to main legal topics, day-to-day support for the performance of the contracts
• Internal reporting of contracts negotiation and anticipation of contractual risks : within the legal department, to the commercial teams, to the management team, to the legal teams of the shareholders
• Preparation of the yearly contract templates
• Other contracts : according our Client's needs, review of contracts with third parties (external providers, clients, etc.)
• Litigation follow-up
• Corporate governance : with the support of external counsels, supporting corporate matters such as minutes of internal committees, follow-up of the yearly general assembly, delegations, etc.
• Other legal support and tasks as punctually requested by the direct manager or the management team
• Participate to the monitoring of the Belgian and European business and competition laws
• Transversal mission : co-management of specific projects / activities (team trainings, legal tools developments, etc.)
