Job Description

A great new opportunity has arisen to join our European Legal team, we are looking to hire a new colleague as Senior Legal Counsel working on a wide and diverse client portfolio across Continental Europe but focused mainly on Belgium, the Netherlands and France. It is a part-time position (15–25 hours / week) with flexible scheduling.

This role will give exposure to a wide range of challenging projects and contracts. As a key business partner, you will be actively involved in bid preparation, bid and contract negotiation, project support, potential claims and implementation of the Group’s internal policies.

Job duties include, but are not limited to :

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of business agreements, contracts, and other legal documentation (including client contracts, bid agreements, joint venture agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and sub-consultancy agreements);
• Claims management, internal reporting, and coordination with external counsel;
• Company secretarial functions, convening and providing administration for board of directors and shareholders meetings ensuring good management of the company and compliance with legislation; and
• Ensuring the application of the Group's internal policies (Ethics & Compliance, ED&I, ESG, and Data Protection).

Qualifications

We are seeking an aspiring legal counsel who has proficiency level in English, French and ideally Dutch and is passionate about building relationships with key stakeholders and adept at providing commercial, results-oriented legal advice.
