Events Programme Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver and enhance UITP events’ programmes, working collaboratively within the Knowledge and Innovation team as well as with Events team and colleagues across the different regions. Example events and programmes include : UITP Annual Global Summit, IT-Trans, SITCE, Regional Events, Webinars, Training programmes…
• End to end management and leadership of UITP event’s programmes from definition of the main theme of the event, the identification of thematic tracks, to the identification of speakers, descriptions of sessions and final delivery of the whole programme on site.
• Development and implementation of event programme process, in close collaboration with the speakers’ management team and session managers, including definition of process, roles & responsibilities, definition of templates, etc
• Quality of the Events programmes to meet all UITP members’ expectations and to position UITP Summit as the main event on Sustainable Urban Mobility recognized globally, by all Stakeholders.
• Align the content of the programmes with UITP strategy and the Integrated Global Work Programme.
• Work collaboratively within the Knowledge and Innovation Department team as well as with the teams from the Regional offices, to develop global and innovative events’ programmes relevant for all UITP members.
• Link the delivery of the programme with the overall Events’ delivery, including the coordination with communication, marketing, logistics aspects and speakers’ management.
• Work closely with Events’ Project Managers, responsible for the overall management and delivery of each UITP event.
• Overall coherency and complementarity of all UITP events’ programmes.
• Contribute to the in depth all-inclusive post event analysis, to identify best practices and lessons learnt for future improvements.
• Manages colleagues inside the team according to the RISE values and with care to ensure its sustainable performance. This mainly consists in providing the employees with guidance, leadership and support, ensuring their development and well-being.
