The Pre-sales and Solutions Exec has a key role in the support of the sales teams in both Belgium and the Netherlands. Their key focus is the assisting in the day to day management and growth of the ILT business in primarily Benelux but also in the wider European Region.
The primary goal is to enable the sales teams to respond to customer opportunities as quickly and as effectively as possible, maximizing the opportunity for growth.
The Pre-sales and Solutions Exec will develop a strong working relationship with our internal and external stakeholders and ensure that the solutions Global Knowledge provides are in line with customer and market expectations.
Responsibilities :
- Sales Support - To work with sales on all requests that require a tailored or bespoke customer response. This may include but is not limited to the following activities : Tracking of Sales Requests and maintenance of SLA’s. Identification of Subject Matter Experts. Scoping calls with Customer, Trainer and Account Exec. Provision of Solution Costings and Statements of Work (SOW). Liaising with Vendors, Partners and Suppliers when required.
- P&L management. The costing of a solution is a key element of this role and an awareness of all the financial aspects that could affect the profitability of the solutions is essential. To cost effectively one should also be aware of competitive market pricing and be able to recommend any changes of the pricing policy to the product teams.
- RFP and tender Responses : – Responding to a tender is not always just about the solutions. Be prepared to be involved in cross-functional teams as we look to ensure all elements of an RFP are completed.
- Product Portfolio Development : Provide feedback to both the product and sales leadership teams based on customer engagements. This feedback is designed to provide insight into potential new course development based on RFP and bespoke requests.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including OEM vendors, partners, suppliers, and channel partners in the satisfaction of market needs and strengthening GK’s market leadership position.
