Business Analyst (Digitization & Supply Chain Process Improvement – Cloud Solution Implementation) – Freelance

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a customer in the manufacturing and technology sector in Leuven for a long-term freelance mission. You will play a key role in a digitization program aimed at improving end-to-end supply chain processes through the implementation of a new cloud-based supply chain management platform.

The objective of the program is to replace legacy tools and manual workflows with an integrated digital solution that enhances visibility, collaboration, and process efficiency across planning, procurement, production, and logistics functions.

The Business Analyst will work closely with Supply Chain teams, IT stakeholders, and external software vendors to gather business requirements, define functional specifications, and support the system configuration and rollout phases.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to supply chain planning, procurement, production scheduling, and logistics
• Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews with supply chain process owners
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for the cloud solution implementation team
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal IT teams during solution design, build, and testing phases
• Support data mapping and migration activities as part of the system rollout
