MCL Software Developer
Role and job description :
The MCL Developer will report into the Software Development Team Leader and will be working closely with the full team to develop and deliver software . Ensure that the software delivered to the customers will be developed with the right level of quality and security in accordance with the Company standards. You’ll work in a diverse environment covering the various solution within Zetes Goods-ID.
Your main responsibilities as Senior Software Developer are :
- Ensuring the right level of quality standards according to the company’s policies
- Ensuring the right level of security according to the company’s policies
- Ensuring the use of the right technologies for the task at hand
- Ensure the software is fully tested and documented
- To respect the development and lifetime maintenance of software products
- Report back to management on the progress of projects
- Find out about the objectives of the application to be developed
- Develop software as per requirements within planned budget & time
- Write code following the SOLID principles and overall best practices
- Clear and structured documentation of the developed solution and proper handover to support
- Provide second line support, act as escalation point for software support issues
- Perform a technology watch with the aim of collecting and sharing the new technologies to be incorporated at Zetes
- Carry out internal reporting on the progress of the development and the risks identified
- Based on the information provided, estimate as accurately as possible the efforts needed to deliver software
