Description de poste
As a Senior Data Engineer :
Most of the time, you will work in a project context in close collaboration with the Tropos team and with the customer
Together with your colleagues and our technology partners, you translate business questions into solid technical solutions that work for the customer
You support, facilitate and coördinate a small team of data engineers (1 up to 4) on your project(s) so that they can build and deliver good data solutions
You communicate and follow up on progress with the team and the customer in an Agile way (think sprint cycles, demos, …)
You manage and signal risk & data compliance issues and you align stakeholders
You contribute to and work on internal R&D development tracks.
Eager to learn and hands-on
Analytical, a natural problem solver, and a quick thinker
Passionate about technology & people and able to communicate with both
A team player with a coaching attitude and a growth mindset towards oneself and others
Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus and other languages a bonus
Relevant experience in data engineering and cloud, preferably in a consulting context (>
5 year)
Experience in or affinity with coaching and managing less experienced colleagues within a project context
Basic knowledge of a programming language (e.g. Python, SQL, Scala, GOlang, HCL)
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in STEM or a natural affinity for logical thinking
