Freelance 2nd Line Support Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our cloud migration team. In this role, you will support users, systems, and infrastructure during a major migration to [AWS / Azure / Microsoft 365 / GCP]. You’ll play a key role in resolving escalated technical issues, assisting with migration tasks, and ensuring business continuity throughout the transformation.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide 2nd line technical support for systems and users during the cloud migration lifecycle.
  • Resolve incidents escalated from 1st line support related to devices, user access, connectivity, or cloud services.
  • Support the setup, testing, and deployment of cloud-based systems, including M365, Azure AD, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, or virtual desktops.
  • Assist the migration team with device readiness, user account transitions, mailbox and file migrations, and post-migration verification.
  • Update and maintain knowledge base articles and user guides to support the transition to the cloud environment.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to 3rd line support or cloud engineering teams with full troubleshooting context.
  • Monitor system health, alerts, and user feedback to proactively address migration-related issues.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), pilot rollouts, and training support activities.
