Role Overview

This is a senior-level engineering position focused on managing and modernizing enterprise Java application infrastructure. The role involves maintaining a legacy IBM WebSphere ND environment while leading the transition to IBM Liberty on a private cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management : Oversee and support traditional WebSphere ND environments.

Cloud Migration : Lead the migration to IBM Liberty in a private cloud setup.

Technical Leadership : Guide a team of engineers and collaborate with architects, vendors, and service providers.

Project Delivery : Ensure timely and quality delivery of infrastructure projects aligned with strategic roadmaps.

Performance & Security : Monitor JVM performance, manage TLS / SSL configurations, and ensure compliance with security standards.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years with IBM WebSphere (Traditional BASE and Liberty v20+)

Apache Tomcat, Java-based applications

TLS / SSL, Red Hat Linux, scripting, networking

JVM performance tuning

Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, CI / CD, Disaster Recovery

Tools : Terraform, Ansible Tower, Java, CaaS, ServiceNow (preferred).
