ArcelorMittal Holding and Services Belgium is looking for :

Corporate Income Tax Professional for Belgium (M, F, X), located in Gent (main location) and Brussels.

the ArcelorMittal Tax Professional Belgium- Transfer Pricing

ROLE

We distinguish 4 main tasks :

1 / Management of tax incentives (e.g. R&D tax credit, innovation income deduction, investment deduction, …) related to business operations.

You will have a leading role in the management of tax incentives related to business operations. This includes among others :

• analyze the legal framework regarding the tax incentives.
• define and coordinate workstreams : which info is needed; define stakeholders that should be involved (e.g. legal, finance, business representatives, management); set up a process securing a consistent data gathering; make the bridge between the business facts and the legal framework on tax incentives on a comprehensive way; analysis of relevant aspects such as  cost components, profitability, R&D aspects etc.
• when considered as appropriate, introduce a request for Advanced Agreement (also called ruling) as this would bring full tax certainty on the application of the tax incentive; manage the consultants who will support you for obtaining a formal ruling from the Service for Advanced Agreements.

2 / Tax accounting and reporting for Belgium

You will have an important supporting role with respect to the tax accounting for the 25 Belgian entities of the AM group.   Tax accounting includes a large number of tasks such as calculating of tax provisions, application of the limitation of interest deduction, defining the group contributions in application of the Belgian tax consolidation regime, prepayments, complete tax reporting schedules for Corporate, file tax related enclosures.

3 / Tax advisory

You will create added value by providing tax advice.  Tax advisory aims both control the tax related risks and make use of opportunities. Topics will be very divers, e.g. business restructurings, development of financing schemes for capex projects, application of tax consolidation.

4 / Transfer Pricing (TP)

You will provide support to ensure that the group complies in Belgium with the TP compliance requirements.  More in particular you will provide guidance on the specific Belgian TP rules. In this task you will get in touch with multiple relevant stakeholders such as the ArcelorMittal Corporate Transfer Pricing Team, the ArcelorMittal Transfer Pricing Compliance Center, Transfer Pricing responsible people from business, Transfer Pricing responsible from the Cooperative Tax Compliance Team of the Belgian Tax Authorities etc.
