About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Excellence Manager to join our client's team in Antwerp. In this pivotal role, you will lead initiatives that drive operational excellence across the supply chain, with a strong focus on optimizing 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partnerships and developing high-performing teams. You will play a key role in shaping supply chain strategy, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

3PL Relationship Management :

Lead and manage strategic relationships with third-party logistics providers.

  • Monitor and evaluate 3PL performance through KPIs and SLAs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with logistics partners to enhance service levels and reduce costs.

Leadership & People Management :

Manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals, including people managers.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure team growth and engagement.

    • Process Optimization & Excellence :

    Identify and implement best practices across supply chain operations (planning, warehousing, transportation, etc.).

  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve supply chain efficiency, agility, and sustainability.
  • Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to drive process improvements.

    • Data & Performance Management :

    Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

    • Stakeholder Collaboration :

    Work closely with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Commercial teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.

  • Act as a key point of contact for supply chain excellence initiatives across the organization.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience managing 3PL relationships and leading people managers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and supply chain analytics tools.
