About our role :

Our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical eCommerce space, is seeking a Chief eCommerce Officer to drive the business into its next phase of growth. This is your chance to lead with purpose, elevate a fast-growing digital brand, and leave your mark on how healthcare products are delivered and experienced across Europe.

In this role, you won’t just oversee campaigns, you’ll define and execute a commercial growth strategy that shapes the entire customer journey. From acquisition and conversion to loyalty and retention, you'll lead a highly-skilled team spanning SEO, SEA, CRM, branding, trade marketing, and more. You'll build a data-fuelled roadmap, obsess over ROI, and foster a culture that’s driven by measurable impact.

This is the role for someone who thrives on data, owns tough decisions, and sees marketing as a commercial engine, not a cost centre. You’ll be the connector between marketing, product, pricing, and operations, and you’ll have the autonomy to make real, lasting change.

What you will be doing :

  • Define and lead the multichannel commercial strategy across Europe, focusing on growth by market and channel
  • Build a marketing roadmap rooted in business impact, ROI, and conversion metrics
  • Lead and structure marketing teams to deliver acquisition, engagement, and retention at scale
  • Orchestrate the customer experience across all touchpoints : ensuring seamless integration between departments
  • Automate repetitive processes and leverage modern tools to free teams for high-impact work
  • Establish KPI frameworks (CAC, LTV, conversion rates, average order value) that guide decision-making
  • Mentor and challenge marketing experts to push boundaries and think commercially
  • Collaborate across departments to align vision, execution, and priorities

    • What you bring :

  • 10+ years in senior digital marketing and commercial roles, ideally in international eCommerce environments.
  • Deep expertise in SEO, SEA, CRM, performance marketing, and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience running campaigns and managing budgets with direct business impact.
  • A true B2C and eCommerce mindset : understanding the full funnel from traffic to reactivation.
  • Proven ability to build or restructure teams, mentor leaders, and embed performance culture.
  • Experience with dashboards and data tools like Looker, Google Data Studio, or similar.
  • Strong ROI orientation : every decision backed by numbers, every initiative tied to business outcomes.
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
