Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales and Market Development Leader to join their European division as Director  of Sales . This pivotal role requires experience  selling trademarked ingredients for nutraceuticals. This role will   drive profitable growth, expand market presence, and lead a high-performing sales team in the region.

  • This is a remote role, this person must be based out of Europe, preferably Belgium.

Responsibilities :

Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives aimed at achieving revenue and profitability targets across the European market.

Build, mentor, and inspire a dynamic sales team, fostering a collaborative and achievement-focused culture.

Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities and partnerships to accelerate business growth.

Strengthen relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new client accounts to expand the company’s market share.

Ensure compliance with all applicable local regulations, industry standards, and internal policies within the sales process.

Safeguard the organization’s intellectual property by addressing and mitigating any instances of IP infringement.

Regularly report key metrics, insights, and strategic updates to senior management, supporting informed decision-making.

Must Have Qualification :

  • Industry Expertise : Proven success selling branded / trademarked ingredients into the nutrition supplement and nutraceutical sectors.
  • Market Knowledge : Ability to instantly identify key decision-makers at trade shows or within European markets.
  • Scientific Acumen : Technical expertise to diagnose client gaps and position tailored ingredient solutions.
  • Leadership Track Record : Hands-on experience driving sales KPIs across multinational teams.
  • Qualifications :

    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; an MBA is highly desirable.

    10+ years of sales leadership experience in the dietary supplement ingredients industry, with a proven track record of success.

    Strong skills in leadership, strategic planning, financial management, and effective communication.

    Comprehensive knowledge of the European dietary supplement sector, including market trends and regulatory landscapes.

    Demonstrated ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

    A background in science or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

    Compensation : $180,000 - 200,000 plus full benefits!
