(SENIOR) CONTENT MARKETEER

Your mission
- Linked to the overall marketing strategy and business objectives and, in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing, develop and manage the content marketing strategy for the entire organisation.
- Translate this content strategy into a yearly brand communication & content production planning, across themes, content types or formats and owned, earned, shared and paid channels.
- Oversee incoming content requests and ongoing projects, and plan and coordinate both proactive and reactive content creation together with the content team and external partners.
- Balance priorities & team capacity, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging and on-brand content.
- Take on a coordinating role within the four‑person content team, fostering smooth collaboration, new ways of working, aligning workload and ensuring that each team member’s strengths are used effectively.
- Work closely with the other central marketing sub-teams – emailing, digital campaigns & website – to manage interdependencies, align planning and support each other’s activities
- Create content yourself for different channels and formats, ensuring hands‑on support in daily operations.
- Develop a message framework for brand and product communication to strengthen & apply messaging consistently across channels & content carriers.
- Safeguard and update the brand visual identity ensuring consistency across the entire organisation.
- Keep track of relevant content trends and good practices and apply them where beneficial to improve our content output and effectiveness.
- Be part of the Central Marketing content sub-team and report directly to the Head of Marketing.
You
- Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in developing and implementing both a content marketing strategy and a yearly content communication & production plan.
- Are proficient in planning and managing the creation and production of a larger volume of content, both proactively and reactively, together with team members
- Have hands-on experience yourself in creating and producing high-quality, compelling, and engaging content across a wide variety of content types & channels
- Are comfortable with technology and eager to learn new tools and platforms related to content creation and marketing.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring alignment towards common goals and cohesive efforts.
- Are driven and goal-oriented, show a willingness to act and ensure strategies are high-level, actionable and grounded.
- Are organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple workflows Ability to prioritise and stay calm in peak periods.
- Have excellent written and verbal knowledge of English.
- Are flexible to work on our two campuses (Ghent & Brussels), in combination with your home office.
