Functieomschrijving
As a welding engineer, you will prepare welding files thoroughly and supervise their execution.
You are technically responsible for the project from A to Z and have the following tasks :
- Drawing up welding files in accordance with codes and customer requirements
- Organising and following up welding tests and the associated administration
- Optimising existing welding processes
- Supporting and advising other departments such as sales, project managers, technical draughtsmen, designers and production
- Contributing to welding improvements
- Qualifying welders and drawing up the necessary documentation
