The Role :
Are you a finance professional with a passion for optimizing resources and influencing commercial strategy? We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join our Western Europe team and play a key role in leading the financial cycle for our Marketing & Zone Commercial functions across multiple markets. From driving budget accuracy to building trusted stakeholder relationships, this is your chance to make a tangible impact at a pan-European scale.
What you’ll be doing :
Lead the financial cycle : Own the budgeting, closing, and forecasting processes for Marketing and Commercial functions across all Western European countries.
Optimize resources : Support annual resource allocation across markets and brands, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy.
Enhance forecast accuracy : Drive accuracy in financial planning while identifying opportunities to reduce non-working spend.
Analyze performance : Track monthly marketing performance, analyze variances, and ensure clear visibility into KPI trends.
Deliver reporting excellence : Ensure timely delivery of high-quality management reporting to key stakeholders.
Ensure compliance : Maintain full alignment with accounting principles, internal standards, and company policies.
Drive operational improvements : Identify and implement process and system enhancements to streamline operations.
Collaborate across teams : Build strong relationships with Marketing, Zone FP&A, Control, and Functional PPMs.
Perform key financial tasks : Execute monthly closings (accruals, journals, reclassifications), update forecasts in Anaplan, and reconcile between ZBB systems (Anaplan & Cognos).
Support ad hoc needs : Deliver insightful analysis on actuals, forecasts, and year-over-year performance.
Who we’re looking for :
2+ years of experience in Finance, Performance Planning, or Audit.
Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint—able to turn data into clear, impactful reports.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent financial acumen and a sharp analytical mindset.
Experience with Anaplan, Cognos, or similar financial tools is a plus
