UAS Pilot

SKYEBASE is an innovative company specializing in drone and robotics technology for industrial inspections. Using their proprietary reporting platform, I-Spect, and AI, SkyeBase efficiently transforms captured data into smart insights. Their services focus on enhancing efficiency and safety in critical sectors like industry, container terminals, and infrastructure. By leveraging drones, robots, and data technologies like AI, inspections can be conducted faster, safer, and more accurately than traditional methods.

SkyeBase performs drone and robotics operations and delivers insights and reports in a clear and innovative way. As a UAS Pilot, you will work closely with project planners and inspectors. Additionally, you will assist in reporting the captured data.

What profile are we looking for?

We are seeking a dynamic individual with the right personality and skills to strengthen our team :

• A scale-up mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Interest in innovation, technology, and industrial environments.
• UAS Remote Pilot (OPEN A2 / EU STS 01-02) certified for up to 25kg MTOM.
• Resides near Antwerp, as our warehouse is located in the northern part of the city.
• VCA-VOL certified.
• Driving license (B).
• Proven technical background.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
• Proficiency in Dutch (spoken and written), English (spoken and written); knowledge of French is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrable flight experience in commercial UAS roles with multicopters (minimum 50 logged hours, both manual and automated flight).
• Thorough understanding of European UAS regulations.
• Experience in planning and executing UAS operations in diverse environments under challenging conditions.
• Motivated, problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Well-organized and structured.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Thrives in a fast-growing company and does not have a “9 to 5” mentality.
• Resilient, responsible, and respectful of equipment.
• Proficient in Office and other digital tools.
