Operational Risk & Support Officer – Private Banking

Location : Belgium

Sector : Private Banking

Type : Full-time (6months)

Are you ready to make an impact in a dynamic Banking environment? We are looking for a proactive and analytical Operational Risk & Support Officer to strengthen our team in Belgium. You will act as a key expert supporting the operational activities of our Banking department, ensuring smooth processes and risk-aware decision-making.

Your Responsibilities

As Operational Risk & Support Officer, you will play a central role in the stability and efficiency of our operations :

  • Manage and follow up on operational errors and incidents to ensure business continuity.
  • Analyze risk events and identify root causes in line with risk management frameworks.
  • Ensure timely reporting and escalation of incidents, following established protocols.
  • Monitor open incidents and mitigation plans through to resolution.
  • Present quarterly risk and performance insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Support the annual and quarterly tariffication process, including fee settlements and Front Office queries.
  • Provide operational expertise for Banking-related topics such as order management and system parameter settings.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who combines operational insight with excellent communication and risk awareness :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably with a few years of relevant experience.
  • A proactive, pragmatic mindset with strong ownership.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both top-down and bottom-up.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Native-level Dutch or French, with a very good command of English.
