Process Engineer

My client are an engineering bureau who work mainly within the process industry such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals and biotechnology across Belgium and beyond.

START : ASAP (September 2025 latest)

LOCATION : Mechelen

CONTRACT LENGTH : Permanent Contract

Process Engineer

Responsible for managing and leading the technical part of the project by interfacing with client, engineering team, internal organization and subcontractors in order to ensure the project is executed and the deliverables are met in line with the agreed contract requirements.

Qualifications

• BSc / MSc. degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
• 5 years minimum experience in a comparable field of work
• Knowledge of the engineering software (Aspen Hysys, Aspen Plus, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AVEVA etc…)
• Knowledge of international standards applicable to the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Strong experience in FEED phase of projects.
• Fluent English and Dutch speaker
