Position Overview The client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Site Supervisor to support the daily operations of active construction sites. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about construction, safety, and quality, who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to maintain efficient workflow
  • Monitor site safety and ensurepliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, deliveries, and attendance
  • Support the Site Supervisor with scheduling, quality control, and issue resolution
  • Help resolve on-site issues and escalate concerns as needed
  • Conduct site inspections to verifypliance with plans and specifications
  • Assist in managing site logistics, including equipment, materials, and waste disposal

Requirements

  • Diploma or certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in a construction or site supervisory role preferred
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with construction management software is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites
  • Working Conditions

  • Primarily on-site work in varying weather conditions
  • May require extended hours or weekend work depending on project deadlines
  • Daily site walks to ensure smooth operations with team and subcontractors
