Description de posteProven Network Engineer experience in IT and / or OT environments Highly skilled with Check Point firewalls (mandatory) Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network security Cisco environment experience Fluent in English (mandatory) + French or Dutch Start date : ASAP Duration : Long-term freelance Onsite : Strictly 3 days / week, Brussels Rate : €600 - €750 range
About the job
This client is looking to reenforce their network security team, particularly in Checkpoint expertise! You will play a fundamental role in supporting business goals as well as strengthening the current teams understanding checkpoint and related systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and datacenter-to-cloud networks
- Deploy and manage Check Point firewalls and Cisco network devices
- Support routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure
- Participate in network projects and automation (Python / Ansible)
- Monitor network health and resolve incidents
