Doctors of the World is an international medical NGO and part of an international network. We provide medical assistance to vulnerable groups in Belgium and around the world.

THE ESSENTIAL
The COZO (Reception, Care and Orientation Centre) in Antwerp provides temporary psychosocial and medical consultations for people who have no effective access to care in the greater Antwerp area. In addition, we work to ensure access to healthcare through various possible procedures. We raise awareness about social issues and use our voice to advocate for structural changes.
You will join a warm team of permanent staff and volunteers.
As the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Focal Point , you ensure the quality of mental health care (MHPSS) within the project and provide guidance and support to health workers and / or volunteers (medical – social – psychological). You will work to strengthen the mental health care network in the Antwerp region.
Under the hierarchical responsibility of the Project Leader and the technical responsibility of the Mental Health Referent, the role also includes management of a small team of volunteers.
MAIN TASKS
As Person Responsible for the MHPSS Activities :
You coordinate and organize the MHPSS activities of the project, in line with the mission and values of the organization, to ensure the quality and continuity of care.

You support and guide the multidisciplinary team in accordance with the operational framework, existing processes, and protocols to ensure an optimal working environment aligned with the resources and priorities of the regional program.

As Mental Health Member of the Regional Program Team :
You are responsible for implementing the mental health objectives and themes of the regional strategy within your project and ensure good collaboration to strengthen cross-project integration.

These responsibilities will be carried out in a specific and cross-cutting way based on the annual individual action plan, drawn up jointly by the supervisor and the employee.
