What are we looking for?
Our Solutions Engineering Tribe is enabling GBS modernization and playing a key role in Euroclear’s IT Transformation. The tribe is looking for a Tribe Scrum Master to support the Tribe in increasing efficiency & agile maturity. The role involves both securing one unified Agile Tribe process & mindset amongst the different IT delivery stakeholders of the tribe. You will also be the catalyst & driving engine of continuous improvement within the tribe.
Role and Responsibilities :
Maximize value & delivery :
- Secure, together with the Tribe Product Owner, the embedding of a strong enablement (dependencies), demand, stakeholder, risk and impediment management : help squads in the resolution of impediments & in identifying dependencies between teams
- Coordinate escalated risk, impediments and change control processes for assigned projects, assist on building action plan to mitigate risks / solve issues and track action items
- Facilitate and organize required structural conversations (internally and transversally to IT / Business).
- Assist Tribe management in the preparation and facilitation of tribe events (. Quarterly Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Tribe Retrospective, management team meetings)
- Facilitate the Tribe’s performance monitoring & dialogue and installation of performance metrics (KPI and Key Agile Metrics).
Teach and mentor agile teams & develop talent :
Ensure that Tribe key roles will manage the initiatives (own epics and contributions) according to the Euroclear internal Agile or Hybrid standards (methodology & tools)Embed changes in the ways of working with people (squads & Tribe)Ensure a strategic vision for the Scrum Master hiring of the tribe and participate actively in the recruitment.Share knowledge & practice via local and divisional Scrum Master Communities of Practices.Participate actively in the GBS Tribe Scrum Master community.Demonstrate agile leadership :
Coach people in the Tribe in adopting Agile practices and mindset.Act as a Tribe servant leader.Coordinate with Tribe PO, Tribe Architect, Team Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment.Foster an agile culture :
Be the catalyst of and drive Continuous Improvement in the Tribe by focussing on maturity improvement and strategic solutions from an Agile and epic delivery perspectiveResponsible for sharing / promoting Agile best practices within the organization.Assist management in creating structural and cultural changes in the organization to become more agile.Your Profile :
Have strong (more than 5 years) proven experience in Agile as Scrum master in a complex IT environment and / or Project leader and / or program manager ; proven experience as Tribe Scrum Master will be considered as an asset.Given the nature of Tribe, having an educational background and / or experience in IT is a valuable assetExperience working in a multicultural environmentExperience in a finance environment is a plusGood understanding of Euroclear business and technical roles is an assetStrong leadership skills, being able to adapt your style according to the situation and to the different stakeholders (situational leadership + team empowerment)Coaching and facilitation experienceExcellent communication skills at all levels, from staff members to senior management. Fluent in English is required (oral and written).Ability to learn quickly in a complex environment and to synthesize the situationPositive attitudeProactive, autonomous, pragmatic, flexible, and risk-awareGood organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to solve problems and resolve conflictsPlease note that this is a permanent position, and we do not offer freelance or contract arrangements for this role.
