Mission
You are part of a team of supplier quality engineers and you are the internal focal point for all quality related matters affecting the supply chain. You report to the Supply Quality Assurance manager and work together with the supply chain team, procurement team, program quality assurance managers and program teams.
Responsibilities
- You ensure and maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices for supplier quality requirements
- Strict follow up of quality requirements for products and processes of the supplier and at incoming inspection
- Ensure flow down of customer requirements and applicable norms / standards and described in a quality plan and / or in the supplier order / contract
- Strict follow up of FAI requirements, as well as the implementation of APQP depending on size and criticality of the supplier and for any transfer of work
- Ensure that changes are followed up and validated
- You align with the different organisations (mainly BU, program management, procurement and program quality)
- the workload for new suppliers,
- transfers of works planned
- You monitor and report the quality performance of the suppliers of Sabca
- Review the results of the supplier quality and determine in alignment with procurement the suppliers needing improvement plan
- Execute supplier audits and are responsible for supplier qualifications
- You ensure an effective follow up of the suppliers to improve supplier non-conformity handling
- Contribute to daily follow up of supplier quality in the quality clinic incoming
- Ensure an effective complaint handling process for all non-conformities detected at QC incoming,
- Follow up improvement plans and RCCA for concessions requested by the supplier
- Ensure KPI reporting and definition of improvement plans
- You ensure the quality control both at supplier and at incoming inspection
- Validate the control plan of the main suppliers
- Follow up trend control to validate sampling at supplier
- Increased inspection in case of non-conformities
Your profile
You obtained a Master degree in industrial engineering, electronics or mechanics, or materials science or equivalentYou have excellent communication skills in English and French or DutchYou are able to motivate a team and to ensure rigor in the follow up of quality requirementsAs we favor a close collaboration with supplier, you will have to travel at 30% to 50% of your timeA relevant experience in supply quality is a big asset for this position.You have practical knowledge with problem solving methodologies : 8D, 5whys, etc..Knowledge of aerospace materials, components and assembly of structural parts is a plus.You have a good knowledge of quality standards (AS / EN, ISO, IATF ,...).You have a good knowledge of drawing reading, G D&TYou have a knowledge on the implementation of APQP according to ENYou are a team player.You are solution minded and you like challenges.You can work under pressure and maintain a high result driven working environment.You are able to be assertive and convincing when needed.You have excellent analytical skills.You have a good knowledge of MS Office and ERP (SAP, S4HANA).Take responsibility and action within the company regarding the ISO standardSelection Criteria for Internal Candidates :
