Job description

Amaris Consulting is looking for a curious and motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our team in Brussels as part of the V.I.E program . You’ll play a key role in bridging business needs with technical teams while gaining hands-on experience on exciting digital transformation projects across sectors like banking, insurance, and the public domain.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and meetings.
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications or user stories for development teams.
  • Support process mapping and optimization using tools like BPMN or UML.
  • Participate in test phases, helping define test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure alignment between business and IT.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure traceability across requirements and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and user-focused solutions.
  • Gain exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint rituals.

Your Profile :

  • You are eligible for the VIE program and willing to relocate to Brussels.
  • You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • First internship or work experience in a Business Analyst or IT consulting environment is a plus.
  • Strong interest in digital transformation, system analysis, and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, functional documentation, and analytical frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with both business and IT teams.
  • You speak English and French fluently (both written and spoken) – mandatory.
