Proficient with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar. Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a plus. Freelance status with valid right to work in Belgium. Immediate availability preferred. Competitive freelance day rate. Opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a leading industrial hub. Potential for contract extension or repeat engagements.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Freelance Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to support ongoing industrial projects in Antwerp. You will be working closely with multidisciplinary teams on the design, implementation, and commissioning of E&I systems across brownfield sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review E&I designs, drawings, and documentation (layouts, loop diagrams, schematics, etc.)
- Supervise or support installation, testing, and commissioning of E&I systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, automation specialists, and process engineers.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and ATEX standards.
- Provide technical input and design review sessions.
